Loading ...Gates of Andaron is a free to play 3-D MMORPG which plays similarly to games like World of Warcraft, even the user interface is designed almost identically. The story of the game goes like this: the two nations of Iberia have splintered into two factions: Derion and Valorian. Fight for disputed territory, besiege castles, and wage all-out warfare against your enemies – or in their defense. Duel your opponent and celebrate your victory. If the battlefield is not your calling, administer the conquered territories… The fate of the Gates of Andaron lies in your hands.
There are three races to choose from in Gates of Andaron: humans, felines or fairies. Humans are balanced fighters and magic users, felines are great fighters and fairies make great magic users. There are three fighting classes: warriors, night walkers and archers, and three magical classes: magicians, priests and evokers. As you level up, you may distribute points to a number of class specific skills, allowing you to customize what type of character best suits your style or needs. Gates of Andaron supports PvP fighting in two forms: duels and wars. Duels are strictly one on one battles between two characters who both must agree to the challenge. Wars take place on a grander skill and involve one of the two kingdoms attacking a zone that belongs to other kingdom. Every kingdom is comprised of different sections that exhibit different characteristics. There are castles and occupied territories in each of these sections. You are in charge of the property and trade of the sold products there. For this reason kingdoms create new territories and conquer the territories of other kingdoms. You must own at least one conquered zone to have a siege war.
The conquest of territories play a major role in Gates of Andaron.
